boiled octopus

so let's make this more of a story...

koichi drove from arizona to join us the other weekend for a joshua tree-integrabooster-birthday extravaganza in the desert. he arrives friday morning with no camping gear, no food, not even any shorts. i gave him a pair of really short shorts, and he ended in those without a t-shirt passed out in the middle of the desert, with empty beer bottles and a puddle of drool around him...and later a nice sun burn. apparently, 'boiled octopus' is the japanese way of describing a really bad sunburn. the rest of the weekend, koichi was asking people if they wanted to see his boiled octopus and immediately pulling his pants down...god damn japanese pranksters!! i love it!!!
